Tonight I had a free seat to one of the most amazing shows. It was beautiful! I took my pillow, placed it on my back porch, and simply sat there and watched the sky light up for an hour. Lightening after lightening struck while creating an orchestra of sound with the leaves, wind, and thunder. I do not think it is by coincidence that recently I have read numerous passages in the Bible referring to the Lords coming as Lightening. Seriously…just last night in Matthew and in Revelation I read those words and tried to imagine what this will be like. I am more of a “see” learner and was able to understand it clearer tonight.

For those who live around here…you completely understand the rarity of thunderstorms. They are few and far between, but when it does storm…it REALLY does. So, lying on my back porch, watching the sky light up, I pondered the reality of Jesus’ words and His symbolic description of portraying lightening. It lights up the entire sky no matter where it comes from. It is sharp, exact, bold, blinding. It also leaves a reminiscence in your eye after you’ve seen it. Especially since it is dark outside the radiance stands out even more. Amazing to visibly see this and imagine what is to come.

It was a spectacular show and is still going on, I seriously could sit outside all night.

Too bad Gracey doesn’t feel the same way…she is hiding somewhere around here…poor thing.
