Days of Elijah

Blesses me to see MEN of God singing like this, standing for what they believe in unashamedly!!! Made me so happy!!!

Overflow

If we store up knowledge from the Bible and from our walk with the Lord
If we gather the words and information and then allow the Holy Spirit to apply it to our hearts and lives
it becomes WISDOM.
We can have knowledge, but wisdom is entirely a different story
and to gain such a disposition would be blessed
But shall this be the end of its story?
Shall wisdom simply die rejoicing only for our mind and heart alone?
Is wisdom meant just to affect our individual selves?
It should not "die" within our mortal being
If it stops within us, what use is it truly?
There is more, so much more, seen and unseen
No...it shall continue
Continue into actions
spilling over the cup
overflowing into others lives,
a perpetual domino affect
This is what it means to not merely "die within us"
We must allow it to nourish others
a taste of Truth that we carry freely
For perhaps we are their only experience of Love
For His word is certainly ALIVE
and now we must LIVE it

Hungarian Shadow Group

I stumbled upon this clip from Britain's Got Talent and not only are they HUNGARIAN, but their ability to express their hearts through shadow dancing is beyond beautiful to me.  I teared up watching this performance and had to post it simply because it is beautiful. I am amazed, how unique, how touching.

Stop telling God how big your storm is- Instead tell your storm how big your God is.

Run-MUD

Bryan did his first (and I believe his last! Ha-ha) Mudrun today.  We really didn't know what to expect except that there would be lots of mud, obstacles, and a little over 6 miles to run!  We had surprised him with T-shirts that we designed for him to run in.  I knew in all circumstances the Lord wants to declare His Glory and purpose and so I asked Him what He wanted to say on the shirts and I saw a runner running to the cross who was muddy and the words "Cleaned by Love" on the front.  On the back was the scripture from Isaiah 1:18 saying "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."  I wish I had a better picture of it, but you can see it at the end of these pictures.  Ahava was SO SUPER excited!!!  She has known he has been preparing for a run and would frequently say "Papa mud run!"  We happened to arrive within SECONDS of him starting.  We didn't expect to see this part because Ahava and I drove out there after her nap.  I didn't even try to make it, because knew it would be impossible, but truly I wanted to be there.  But as we LITERALLY strolled over to the start they were counting down the clock and lo' and behold...PAPA RAN right by us!!!!  Then I really didn't quite know what to do or where to wait to see him, they took off towards a pasture and field that was blocked off.  I saw a couple of people I knew and Ahava got to pet the creatures in the free petting zoo...GOTTA LOVE THE LITTLE POT BELLY PIG, can I please have him???!!!!!  Then we saw our friend Cindy from JRophe and we all decided to walk down to the street side and see the obstacles there.  Then in the distance I saw a familiar run style and it was Bryan!!!!!  We were allowed to go right up to the big pit and with some cheering and encouragement, PAPA didn't let his little squirrel down....HE DOVE IN LIKE SUPERMAN PAPA and then even got a quick kiss from a darling princess butterfly squirrel and continued on his way!!!  Ahava and I then went and found the last obstacle...the massive SLIP -n- SLIDE and camped out there waiting for Papa to reappear and receive more applause and love from his fans!  I didn't know what to do when we saw him, but decided that I was going to video it instead of taking pictures...yet now, I totally wish I had some pictures because it was just so funny how he chose to descend!!  Bryan says there is a way to freeze the video to capture a picture on our camera, so I may try and figure out how to do this and add it later.

One of the neatest things that happened...besides getting to share Ahava's story with several people (and it is just so strange how the Lord leads people to ask about it...I secretly feel like she is some sort of celebrity sometimes!!!  But I know it is just that people can sense the Lord's presence on her and us and the Joy that follows us every where!),....it was when  Bryan finished the race....and we are talking about CRAZY mud pits, tunnels, crawling under wires and so much that was just DIRTY....but get this!!!!!....are you ready????? A PATCH ON THE BACK OF HIS SHIRT WAS PRACTICALLY UNTOUCHED BY THE MUD...and you know what that patch allowed people to read still??? YES....THE SCRIPTURE!!!!...see for yourself....and I know you wont miss the fact that the area that is not stained MAKES A HEART AROUND THE SCRIPTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Can I hear a WHOA??????????

PAPA diving in!

Look at that mud splash!!!

I give it a 9.5!

A kiss from his precious daughter!  Now isn't that the BEST!?

Keep going PAPA!  You're almost there!

DONE!  MUDDY!  BUT STILL ABSOLUTELY CUTE!

Back heart shaped untouched patch around the scripture!

I love you, but don't stand too close!!!  LOL

All Heart

The heart
a secret window into the soul
a path with rhythmic pulses claiming its purpose in the eternal
It knows why it was created
He initiated it's quest
and now we must force it to remember

The war rages within
and all we must do is stop and listen
to the beats that say "He is God, He is God"

And when we finally hear that Voice
nothing can compare to its reunion to the One
and it again dances for Him

The Soundtrack of Life

The church was hot and sticky with the feel of what I supposed fog must be like if you sat directly upon it.  The presence of those around me were evident only by the simultaneous eruption of voices that thundered eternity and echoed in mortal times perpetual cavity.  We came to press through, to war against our flesh and to battle against the encroaching tactics of the *nemy. And I pondered how if one were to capture all the voices that yearned for the throne at any given moment on earth, I am sure it would deafen mortal ears.  Yet, God seated upon His throne, hears the passions of HIStory.  HIS-story.  He willingly pairs Himself with man's dilemma of time, meets us here and hears the present's pulse and the cries of our futures; looking to us like mere empty pages, yet to Him written entirely brilliantly with moments of intervention, love, and compassion.  All these arrive upon His ears precisely at the same time, and to Him it is a symphony of music that ebbs, glides and flows rhythmically and masterfully and He smiles and delights.  I wondered that day where our voices entered this eternal chant-like loop.  What was behind this moment?  And what was still to come? Where did we fall upon times brilliant walkway of Adoration to our King? I thought of the creatures in Ezekiel who see God's face and simply cannot stop crying out day and night "Holy! Holy! Holy! Is the Lord God Almighty!  The whole earth is full of His Glory!" Can I even imagine how Glorious God is that I could simply NEVER stop saying these words?  I Praised Him in my heart, I could not help keeping the awe and wonder at bay. And that we being so lower than these creatures who ACTUALLY SEE GOD'S FACE, can be given such a gift; the privilege to be adding to the cadence of it all.  The beauty about this glorious mystery lies in the fact that we don't even have to acknowledged its existence for it to exist.  Oh how I wish all could see!  A thread, a note, a chord, but so valuable and so loved, Yet, we most certainly are a part of something so organized, purposed, intricate, beloved and Holy.  Jesus Christ says we are fellow Kings and Queens when we become adopted into His family.  I longed to be enveloped in this Truth both in body and soul.  The voices continued to echo through my heart and mind.  It persevered into my soul as my surroundings faded more and more and I am convinced at that moment, we all were no longer attached to time, but that our hearts glimpsed into the Father's heart and as we prayed and pressed in together, He meet us and nurtured His children.  As I left there that evening, I imagined the worship, the words, the music and instruments, and our desire and longing for Truth still floating around as not a part of simply the present any longer, but that of a treasure we now had of one that travels beyond the now into a realm and time that is not mortal.  A beauty that joined the past worship and desperate longing for our Jesus as well as the future's sounds that echo so softly to our ears, yet are in its proper place of life's grand symphony for His ears.  All this....a perpetual worship concert to exalt Jesus constantly with all the heavens, stars and His creation throughout time... ALL of time...that is THE PAST, THE PRESENT and the FUTURE.  Our voices are eternity, a timeless beauty still continuing through the heavens, with the saints,...the soundtrack of life.

Happy 8th Anniversary to my LOVE

8 years, GOD has brought us through 8 years!
Thank YOU Jesus
Thank you Bryan

We do traditional gifts, so for 8 is pottery and my gift to Bryan was
going and painting pottery to be put in a kiln.  Ahava joined
in our date and painted something special as well.

After we went out to a yummy spaghetti dinner!
That's the way to share, huh?

A hug from my sweet husband!

We went on a romantic carriage ride around the historic downtown

I love you!

Ahava was SUPER happy!  Look at that face!
